Yingxin Luan presented at the Eighth Annual LAMPS Conference (Working from Home: Labour and worship in the domestic sphere June 2022).

Yingxin Luan is a Ph.D. student in medieval history in EHESS (France), under the direction of Mathieu Arnoux. Her research focuses on Mendicant orders in Rouen, Normandy, especially the writing practices and poverty of Franciscans and Dominicans in the 13th-14th centuries. She graduated from Peking University (China) with a Bachelor’s degree in the history of France and French in 2014. She received her Master’s degree in history of France from Peking University in 2017. She is also translator of the Chinese version of Saint François d’Assise by Jacques Le Goff.
